A number of workshops were held with role-players in the Johannesburg area. In particular, Graeme Simpson and Duxita Mistry of the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) provided substantial input in the interpretation of the data.

The survey was administered and processed by DRA Development in Durban, which also provided input into the interpretation of the findings and the methodology.
